Will they spark a global anti-capitalist revolution? Will Madonna use secret Kabbalistic codes to harness the power of God and fix everything wrong with the universe? These questions will be answered... in song. The Material World is the second play in Dan Fishback's "Ian Fleishman Trilogy." The first installment, You Will Experience Silence, was called "sassier and more fun than Angels in America" by The Village Voice in 2009.\n\nDAN FISHBACK's major works include thirtynothing and You Will Experience Silence, both of which premiered at Dixon Place, directed by Stephen Brackett. Fishback is an artist in residence at the Hemispheric Institute at NYU, and at BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange. Previous grants include the Franklin Furnace Fund and the Six Points Fellowship for Emerging Jewish Artists. As a musician, Fishback has toured Europe and North America, both solo and with his band, Cheese On Bread.
